Why Tiger Marathon in Tadoba?

Tadoba Andhari Tiger Reserve over years has become the place of Royal Bengal Tigers. Tiger population has increased multiple folds in Tadoba. Only Tiger reserve where the sightings in the buffer zones are more prominent than the core zone.

So, it needs a marathon tour to complete the best buffer zones along with the core zones. In this tour we will be covering the gates like Moharli, Kolara and Kolsa Core along with the buffer zones of each core zone.

We will be watching the blood lines of big tigers of Tadoba like Wagdoh, Bajrang, Dadiyal and Matkasur.

The tour will either start from Kolsa Zone or from Kolara zone of Tadoba Tiger Reserve.

By Air (Fastest)

Flight: Take a flight from Mumbai (BOM) to Nagpur (NAG), which takes approximately 1.5 hours.
Drive: Hire a taxi from Nagpur to Tadoba, covering about 140 km in 3 to 4 hours.

By Train (Most Popular)

Mumbai to Chandrapur/Nagpur: Several trains, such as the Vidarbha Express, Sewagram Express, or Mumbai-Chennai Mail, travel from Mumbai to Chandrapur (approx. 12-14 hours) or Nagpur.

Local Transfer:

From Chandrapur (nearest station): Take a 1–1.5 hour taxi or bus to the reserve (45 km).
From Nagpur: Drive 140 km to Tadoba.

By Road (Self-Drive or Bus)

Distance: Approximately 860-900 km.
Route: Mumbai-Pune-Ahmednagar-Aurangabad-Nagpur-Tadoba.
Duration: 15-16 hours (recommended with an overnight break in Nagpur or Aurangabad).
